Abstract
MCS Moorbek Computer Systeme GmbH was established in 1992 by Eckard Kabel and Kai Brandes. It is an internet system house, offering a complete and high-grade range of services concerning the internet and system technology. The company is owner-managed and has a registered capital of 500.000,- EUR. Its annual sales are approximately 20 million EUR. No further shareholding exists. Services cover sales, installation and maintenance of Sun servers, Oracle databases, Cisco Routers and Check Point products. MCS maintains long-standing, strategic partnerships with each manufacturer. Since 1995 MCS also offers additional services in the area of hosting, housing, consulting and programming and operates a 24/7 Data Center. Since then, MCS is very successful as an Internet service provider and operator of the center, calling itself “the internet system house.” MCS’ headquarter is located in Hamburg, and subsidiaries are to be found in Berlin, Hanover, and Moers. 60 highly skilled employees offer the following services:
